Results (or lack there of...)
Well, Aaron and myself have given our presentation and received very pleasing results. Our project was overall a failure, but we were able to present it so well that our overall grade was an A, even without and demonstration at all. we were able to go on for 25 minutes without faltering once, and we were able to handle all of the questions that Derf and the class threw at us.
I had lots of fun at lunch. Aaron and I arc welded! All you need is a 35V generator, two pairs of alligator clips, two paper clips, and some aluminum (not tin!)foil. When the paper clip arcs with the foil, the foil melts in a bright flash. If you do it fast enough, the paper clip will get red hot from the constant arcing and melt! God I love physics!
