(no subject)
Two of my teachers gave us our midterm grades in class. In one Computer Science class, I have a B (which I'm more than happy with). In the other one, I have an A (which I'm thrilled about). I thought I had fucked up that test really bad, especially when he started saying the class average was a 64. I managed a 91, and with my programs, my average is a 92. So I'm happy. Now I'm just waiting to see about the other grades. I know I did really well on English yesterday. I only screwed up a few quotations, but I kicked some ass on the essay. Moving back home was the best decision I've made since graduating high school.
I may have a job....nothing special and nothing I'm going to spend an assload of time at, but at least I'll get some money. I'll be able to finally get a new laptop since to fix mine it's going to cost as much as a new one. And Mr. Ed was nice enough to get all of my files off my laptop for me, so it's not like I'll be losing anything aside from a few programs from last semester.
Hal's birthday was last night. I had fun. I was kind of disappointed though that Alicia and Courtney didn't go. But I knew Courtney wasn't coming ahead of time since I had talked to her earlier. Still, I was looking forward to seeing them. I also didn't realize Jamie and Beth were going, so that made me happy. I'm all for the crazy parties we used to have, but just going out and not getting drunk was nice, too. I'm glad we did that.
