Aha. I've been wanting to make a huge update-y post for a while, but this has been sitting open, going on three days now, completely blank.
I'm very much happy that we're entering the last few weeks of summer, because I'm tired of being utterly and totally lazy. That, and being around other people maybe one or two days a week is one heck of a mental killer. As I've complained to elegantly in the last three or four posts (it seems like it to me, anyway), I want my schedule. I've heard they're going to come out a little later than normal, though. Hnn. Please feel free to poke / prod / yell at me for being such a hypocrite on the topic of school. I really just want to get this year, and the four regents exams PLUS that SAT, over with. I'm still debating if I should come out of highschool with an art major. I've already started the Art sequence, and I'm prepping for the Art Regents the begining of my junior year. Askjer. I have no idea. I really don't. It really depends on how my Graphic Arts class goes next year. If I enjoy it? I think I'll continue, and then maybe still consider going to SVA over NYU.
I think so far ahead that it makes my head spin. Heeeh~.
Thursday, I went to the diner maybe two or three blocks over with Franky and Eva. Afterwards, we went back to my house, and Darrin wound up coming over to fix my Playstation 2 (again). I'm set on picking up a new(er?) one for as cheap as humanly possible the next time I run into the city. Uh, we talked a bit about a bunch of things, and then we wound up watcing an episode two of "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon". Seriously, if I had one of those camera phones that Usagi has in it? I'd snap at people like crazy to actually look pretty and have decent make up for once. xD; Hahah. I let Darrin borrow the only two full series I have (because I'm cheap), EVA and X. To add, I didn't even bother buying the rest of the X DVDs, so I just downloaded fan subs and put them on CD. I didn't like the dub in the least bit, aside from Aoki's VA. Everybody left at like four, so I went to go and play Xenosaga. I very much like the music and the graphics. I really do, it's just the entire:
BLAHBLAHBLAH-fight-BLAHBLAH-cutscene-BLAHBLAHBLAH-cutscene-BLAHBLAH-rinse, repeat-
Format that I don't enjoy. So, played that for a while that night, and I can't say that I did much else.
Friday turned out to be one heck of a downer, because we didn't wind up going into the city like we were supposed to. I'm tired of being stuck in between people when they're arguing, because "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situations just aren't fun. Spent the night doing almost nothing, but I do remember going to bed obnoxiously late..
..only to wake up three hours later to get ready to go to and get fitted for contacts. Oops. Forgot that was going to happen. I had such a problem getting them in. I felt like a moron for a good two hours after we left, too. My one eye was really bloodshot, and I think it decided that if I poked it one more time, that it was going to explode. I don't really think it was going to explode, but the threat alone was enough to stop me from trying to get contacts in anymore. I remember, at one point, putting on in backwards, and it just stinging. Came home, moped about being stupid on the whole thing for a few hours, and took a nice long nap. But, I did make some of my world-famous retarted pancakes(tm). They're learning to become round, so I doubt I can continue calling them retarted pancakes(tm) anymore. There was a call from my aunt during that period that confirmed that she lost her new house in Punta Gorda. Who knows if we're going to wind up going down there, but the idea has been tossed around quite a bit. I feel so bad for her, because it wasn't even two weeks after she moved all her stuff there.. Anyway, woke up later on, and put up a layout at somebody's journal (-poke-), and I'm noticing more and more flaws in it. Well, not so much flaws as things that I could have done better or done in another way. Woot. Went to be obnoxiously late yet again last night, but I can't say that I even mind anymore. I doubt I'm going to be staying up that late anymore in a few days, anyway. :/ I'm going to miss late night random conversations. Heh.
Woke up maybe two hours ago? Rolled out of bed, took a quick shower, and went back into a different pair of pajamas. Cleaned upstairs a little bit, and put things back where they belong. The 'rents came home, and I helped put away some of the groceries. And now, I'm just kind of sitting around, waiting for Sharon to come over. I still have to straighten my hair out and stuff, which I guess I should really do.. now. ^^;
