Phoning Home!

Hey guys! I apologize for going M.I.A. I haven't been keeping up with anyone's posts very much these past few weeks, much last commented on anyone's. I'm so sorry, but I'll hopefully be able to keep up again now that my Senior BFA exhibition has been hung and will start showing on Monday! I'm so excited and can't wait to hear the reception of my work along with the other 14 graduates in the Visual Arts department. I'll be sure to sneak some pictures and maybe a little video if I can to show the installation.

I am currently working on 3 cosplay projects in a row, but nothing is most exciting than working on Princess Tutu costumes. The possibilities are endless and adorable! Really an OTC (Only True Cosplay) of mine! I'm super excited when I have a million (160 yards) of fabric sitting in front of me waiting isn't turn to be sewn. Everything is coming along really slow, but crisp and cleanly and I'm okay with that. Slowly working on it means I'll spend less money on the project overall.

Hope everyone is doing well and is having a fantastic holiday season.

OH! My injury.... remember my broken big toe? Yes..... 8 weeks ago. Well, I've had my 3rd appointment with the specialist and it isn't healing quickly in the least.... much less healing in general. I'm stuck for another month waiting it out AGAIN before the "specialist" decides if I'll have to undergo a CT scan, bone density test, and bone stimulation therapy (which can still take up to 12 weeks to heal an injury). This just isn't satisfactory to me. I've never broken a bone, but I just cry about having to sit around doing nothing but get fat and lazy. It's terrible for me and I ache more than ever (thank you fibromyalgia) and sleep worst than I can remember. Exercise is my "cure-all" and I can just feel myself going, in all which ways. Hopefully I'll be completely better, by a miracle, on the 90 day mark. We'll see pray for a quickened healing. I want to run, dance, and MOVE again.
