Uuhhh....yeah...no.

I got a call from a number I didn't recognize so, naturally, I ignored it.  The caller left a voicemail and introduced himself as Peter and said he wanted to discuss with me about my resume.  Even though I have already been hired by Macy's, I thought it wouldn't hurt calling him back to see what opportunity I can get.  A better job, maybe?  I thought it was a little fishy at first because he didn't say what company he represented. It turns out that he was a recruiter/manager from a company called World Financial Group.  This guy, Peter, who spoke English pretty well, but in a fobby accent, tried to persuade me to come in for an interview, obviously reading from a script.  Have you ever realized that people's tone of voice change (sometimes minimally or drastically) when they switch from their normal conversational voice to a I'm-reading-from-a-book voice?  Yeeaaah..so he kept asking me if I wanted to come in, and I repeatedly said no.  Giving up, he told me to visit the website:

Peter: "If you change your mind and would like to learn more about my company, please visit our website."
Me: "..Okay.."
Peter: "Yes, our website is www.wfg.opportunity.com"
I hear someone in the background whisper, "No!  Wrong."
Peter: "Oh, I'm sorry, it's www.wfgopportunity.com.  Thank you, have a nice day."
Me:" Uh huh, thanks, you too."

Not once did he talk about my resume.
You can't fool me. Rawrawrawrawr

Turned out, the website didn't exist, but the company did.  I did some research online and found out it was a scam, some muti-level marketing gig.  Screw you, Peter. Have a nice day.
