blink and you missed me
No blog updates during my extremely short stay in Manila (3 days!) because there were other, more important things to do, such as sleep, hang out with friends, and watch a movie with my family.
Hit the ground running last Friday, as I had to do an errand for my mom before eating lunch, then I had eat fast because I was hitching a ride to Makati to meet up with stompboxer. Went shopping, then went home with Aids in tow to have dinner before watching "Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer". Good popcorn movie if you can ignore the plotholes.
Dragged Aids shopping again last Saturday, though it was for aqua socks and books. I love Fully Booked. I've given up trying to find my Star Wars books in Powerbooks. Bought the aqua socks and dry pack for my cellphone in the dive shop near Rockwell. Incidentally, this is the same shop that supplies the resort so they sorta gave me a discount. Went to Toycon after. Saw a lot of people there. Got the loot I asked Oneal to get for me at C4. The shirts are awesome. Can't wait to wear it - "it" singular because the other shirt went to Aids :p Had dinner afterwards.
Fathers' Day lunch with the clan. Had to come up with a presentation. Came up with something while I was in church. Went to Toycon again, then Makati. Watched "Ocean's 13". Had to poke Aids every now and then to make sure he was still awake :p
Bugging Aids to give me the final sked for the Con so that I can book my flight already.
