Wow. I don't really update that much anymore. I keep wondering why. I check read my friends page everyday but I don't update. Weird.

Anyway, nothing much has been happening. I took Thursday and Friday off work (I only come in 3 days a week). Thursday was relaxing as I got to sleep in for the first time in a while.

Friday was more frightening as I had my first Mad Science assist. I had to assist Summer with the "Seeking our Senses" module for a group of grade 1 and 2 students in St. Mary's Pasay. Arrived at the office early, read up on the module, and had a nice talk with Summer. Alona then proceeded to put me down for three assists on Dec 5. Waaaah. She was going to make me the lead but I begged off as I hadn't had my training yet. Went to St. Mary's, ate my sandwich in the car, arrived at the school, and was exposed to utter bedlam. Panicked when I saw 50+ kids running around an empty canteen. Thank god they weren't all ours. Summer entertained the kids while I was preparing the materials away from them. The whole performance went okay though we stumbled a bit because some materials weren't in the box. Got dropped off at Glorietta afterwards, went home, and had a movie/TV marathon with stompboxer for the rest of the afternoon.

Watched "Eurotrip". I now have "Scotty Doesn't Know" looping in my brain. Bwahahaha.

Got subjected to "Smallville" :P Admittedly, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be because the presence of Lana was minimized. I adore Chloe as a character while I want to burn Lana at the stake. What the heck does Clark see in Lana anyway? Ugh.

Uploaded vids to YouTube as per stompboxer's request. You can now watch the "Dream Systems" music video, the fanfilm "Twilight Jedi", and We Kick Ass for the Lord's cover of "Stars are Blind".

Went to aimee237_8's birthday lunch. In fairness, I got there earlier than the birthday girl :p Had lunch, watched "Rent", told stories. Actually, I told stories while she listened. She insisted that she didn't have any stories to tell. Bwahaha. I definitely hope that we see each other again soon. << That last sentence sounded really weird considering that she's just a trike and jeepney ride away now that I'm living at home :p

Went to BigSkyMind with Paul for stompboxer's gig. Turns out that it was Owel's birthday bash so lots of people and lots of beer. Never ever thought that Mr. Owel Alvero would turn out to be the indie rock scene's version of Tim Yap. Bwahaha. Beautiful girls were constantly going up to him, kissing him on the cheek, wishing him a happy birthday. In fairness, I always thought he would become a doctor like his folks. Bwahaha :p

Anyway, stompboxer and I, being the losers non-drinkers that we are, had iced tea and water while everyone else had a Red Horse in hand. Watched The Dorks and Ciudad before hanging out upstairs with everyone else until it was the Manox's turn to play. "Dream Systems" is still my favorite song of theirs. Hmm. We dozed on the couch after so I missed Soft Pillow Kisses. Got bitten by a variety of insect fauna. Engaged Aids in a swearing contest (he won btw :p). Went down again to listen to Outerhope and Ang Bandang Shirley before going home.

I have an exam for P&G on Tuesday. Wish me luck :)

Sleepy... and I have work tomorrow...

Lastly...

You are Temperance

Time. Ages. Transformation. Involuntary change

Temperance is another card of aspiration, but also of much change. It often
represents complex situations. Positively, you can harmonize contrary
forces.

Temperance is, on a surface level, about "tempering." The original pouring from cup to cup might have been about cutting wine with water. So this is a card about moderation. There is, however, another angle to the card, that of merging seemingly impossible opposites. Sagittarius, the centaur, merges beast and man into a unique creature. And then there is the bow and arrow, one moving, one stationary, working together to point the way. Temperance may be, at first glance, a warning for you to "temper" your behavior, to cut your wine with water. But it may also be a reminder to that seemingly irreconcilable opposites may not be irreconcilable at all. Belief that fiery red and watery blue cannot be merged may be the only thing standing in the way of blending the two. Change the belief, measure out each with care, and you can create otherworldly violet.
