Sensei wa dare desu ka? Anata no textbook wa nan desu ka? >__< Mou~!
::switches to good-old Eigo::
Is this a combined Jap10-11 class or solo Jap10? But either way, he/she/it should be teaching you basic sentence construction to go with vocabulary & grammar. Dapat nga mas focused pa if you're taking the combo class.
I'm fairly concerned.
Also, for your reference, please read my comments to your previous entries here and here. They contain the same tips applicable here, so just apply the same ideas.
::switches back to mind-boggling Nihongo::
Akiramenaide gambatte kudasai! Anata to shinjimasu kara, genki o dashite! (Don't give up & good luck! I believe in you, so cheer up!) ^___^
Sensei wa Shaneday Parreno desu. Watashi no textbook wa Minna no Nihongo desu.
Did that make sense?
To be honest, I don't like Minna no Nihongo very much. I bought a grammar book in Powerbooks and I've been using that more often than MNN.
Solo Jap10. Conflict sa Bio class ko yung combo :( Her teaching style is strictly by the book. She only teaches us what's in MNN. She doesn't teach you anything else unless you specifically ask. It's hard to stay motivated when the teacher isn't motivating. Hay.
Hanuvah?!?!! As a teacher, she ought to know better than to rely on just a single friggin' book!!! ::glares at incompetent sensei:: I'm not really familiar with Minna no Nihongo but based on TK's reviews, I think I'm going to stick with my old but trusty Nihongo Shouhou.
The textbook is supposed to act like a guide, but the class should not be entirely dependent on one source alone. Kami-sama knows no two jisho are the same, what more pag sa textbook na! Makita ko lang yung sensei nyo, baka makaltukan ko pa. Keber kung nakapunta na sya sa Japan & all. Ganun din naman mga Japayuki di ba?
Pero ngayon ko lang naisip. Taga-UP ba talaga sya, or padala lang galing jigoku?
Yep, UP grad sya. Linguistics, major in Japanese. This is her first time teaching a Jap class. Bwahaha. So yeah. That may explain certain... shortcomings.
