update and a meme
Switched to the Sponsored+ account, edited my LJ layout, uploaded a custom mood theme, then changed back to regular status. Haha evil :p I really would like the extra userpics but the ads are distracting. Gah. Or is there an option as to which side of the screen the ads are shown?
Our Wi-Fi's back! Yeah!
Finally cleaned up my room. Or at least partially cleaned it up. Set up the portable wire shelving I used in my dorm room as my new bookcase at home. I can see my floor now! ^-^ The Star Wars books are on the top shelf, the RK manga on the 2nd level, assorted books arranged by author on the third, and DVDs on the bottom. All the assorted black cords for the phone, the dial-up connection, the cell charger, and the digicam are hung up on the rack. I should get around to labelling those. I still have a tree's worth of readings piled up because I can't decide on whether to box them up and save them or just throw them out. Don't think I'll be needing them anytime soon.
Whee! I'm finally getting to read all the books I've bought but haven't read yet. Already finished "Children of the Lamp: The Akhenaten Adventure" by PB Kerr (loved it! why doesn't the Philippines have Book 2 yet?!), "How to be Good" by Nick Hornby (ack. didn't like it), and "The End of Eternity" by Isaac Asimov. Still looking for "The Amulet of Samarkand" by Jonathan Stroud as it's still buried in my room somewhere...
I'm getting fat! *wails* Festival's currently having a 3-day sale so I went to Artwork to look for shirts. I can't even fit into the XL anymore! *swears to eat less and exercise more*
