So, out of the blue, this girl asks to do a teaching project with me. (of course a nursing student, I should've known to say no at this point)
First I suggest a subject, "no".
Then my preceptor suggests something good, "no".
She called the nurse educator who liked what the preceptor suggested, "no".
We pull up a list of educational material from the hospital website, she asks which I'd like to do, I offer a suggestion, "no".
I pick another one, "no".
She picks a topic, I say "okay".
She prints 54 pages of information (some pages have a single piece of bulleted info on it). Mind you, none of this is her work, but something she took from a website.
So, Monday in our second class during a break, we decided... She is to send me the information so I can put it onto a poster board for the presentation. Either in bulleted format or not, more or less I just wanted the digital information for the board. At the end of class, she walked right by me and smiled at me. I figured all was A-okay.
Here is her email moments after class ended:

Genevieve,
I am going to just do the teaching project by myself. I feel if I type up the information
that I found and email it to you in "bullet format" that all you have to do is print the
papers out and glue it on to the poster board. I'm sorry
Nursing Student

So, yeah... not that I don't have to BUY the board, gluesticks, print out images, and likely edit what she sends me... but I told her to either send it in a bulleted format or not, up to her.
I really dislike women, especially the majority of my peer group. Why did I choose this career?
