So get this. I'm fairly excited about things to come.
My cousin Lisa called me. We played phone tag for awhile, finally I talked to her tonight.
Turns out, she knows a guy who knows a guy who works at Washington University St. Louis in the research department of internal medicine at the School of Medicine. She told him about me, and he was like: have Brian send me an email and stuff, resume and the like. Maybe we can schedule a time that he can visit over Christmas break. We'll see about getting him a job here for the summer.
So I am totally FUCKING STOKED!!!!
Also, even better. There's this girl. After much heartbreak in my life, or shall I say let downs...this girl seems totally rock solid. she called me cute today . We've been talking lately, and while nothing has been said directly, I've been dropping hints like left and right, and trying to pick up on hers. it's interesting I'll say. This girl is amazingly beautiful, is extremely intelligent, has an insane sense of humor, and to top it all off her body is nearly that of a supermodel goddess (I know I already said beautiful, but beautiful means something different to me than just looks). The problem is, she thought I was a cocky asshole at first. I tend to be sometimes, I'll admit, but that's just so I can masque my shyness. Anyways, we've been talking, it's been going...interesting. We'll see what happens over Christmas break and Jterm and next semester. We'll have a class together, so let's just keep hoping.
Hope. I love to feel hope. It's amazing.
So, there are two wonderful happenings that have occured recently in my life. I can't help but be totally stoked.
The only downer is, I haven't studied as much as I would have liked for my final tomorrow. I'm not doing well in the class, so this is kind of make it or break it for me. But with all the good stuff, who knows what tomorrow will bring. Maybe my luck is finally changing.
