I wouldn't know. I go where I please. Or where i'm sent.
*picks it up and takes a bite out of it, wincing at the taste and regretting all of her choices but still determined not to show her any weakness* Thanks. That's... really different. *puts it down on the plate* Don't want to spoil my appetite.
But how can you not know? *walks over to her* Don't you have any family? A guardian? Someone who can support you through the treacherous paths of childhood?"
*follows her eyes* You consider yourself Henry's friend?
Oddly enough, England isn't stuck on the dark ages. We don't often do as we're told by some older woman who thinks she knows better than everyone else.
*shrugs* Well he does that. He just likes to be the one putting things on his plate. And I like it too, personally. He's very talented with his hands.
..you don't support the Queen either? You're quite the little activist, aren't you?
*tuts* He has an amazing brain. I still have to convince him that he should start thinking about hiring some people to do the lab work for him. It's safer. And I really think you would lovely in an apron.
At least we agree that he has an amazing brain. *smiles sharply* No I think Henry looks better in an apron than I ever would. And he's far more worthy of it. *waves a hand up and down what she's wearing which happens to be one of Henry's too small tanktops she'd blagged from his wardrobe* I'm quite comfortable in what i'm wearing.
I don't really understand why you continue to try to pin something on Henry that isn't him. Rebecca, Henry's a special young man. I don't think he needs your opinion on anything. *turns back to the stove* Maybe a bit too much.
Yes he is special. In many different ways. I think it's great that he's discovering different things about himself. Whether he needs that opinion or not is fairly irrelevant. I'm still going to think it.
I suppose I'm not all that great at putting on a show for other people.
Right. Maybe you should refrain from sharing your opinion. He's a sensitive boy and I don't want him to get the wrong ideas about his place in this world.
You could learn how to do that. *smiles* It would help you.

*lifts her chin* Yes I do.

*smiles* He never mentioned you during his visits. Dinner won't be that big, you should finish it before it's cold.

That's okay. *smiles back* We never talk about you either. *pushes the plate away* Thanks but i'll wait. Thanks to Henry i'm used to less sugar.
Reply
*crosses her arms* Henry's been raised to eat what's on his plate. And this hasn't has any sugar in it.

I'm not sure how it would help. *smiles back* Personally I prefer to be honest about who and what I am.
