LJ Idol Season 6 - Week 0: Introduction
Since they say a picture is worth a thousand words, here is a self portrait:

My name is Chris, and I am 24 years old. As I usually include whenever introducing myself in a friending frenzy, I'm not your stereotypical male. Among my interests are cooking, baking, art, and watching musicals, and I listen to a wide variety of music--several of my favorite CDs are cast recordings and comedy albums. I'm always up for making or eating a new dessert, or trying a new style of art. In addition, I hate most action movies, and the handful that I do like I consider guilty pleasures.
On the other end of the spectrum, I love baseball, and I am a fan of the Boston Red Sox--a lot of my entries deal with them in some way or another. I find that disappointment gives me more material than success does. I also follow football and hockey, though I don't write about them as much. I also love a good beer, and although my current favorite is Sam Adams Blackberry Witbier, sometimes I think it's nice to have a basic Budweiser or Miller.
I participated in LJ Idol last year, as many of you already remember, and I was voted out earlier than I would have liked. I hope to do better this year.
