Work, Life, Other.

I took a severe mental beating today. My wife has been gone for more than a week, the longest separation of our lives together. This leaves little point in going home, but since I'm trying to be frugal, I don't spend money like crazy, which leads me to want to go home. I don't know, quite, what to do with myself, which always uncomfortable. Some activities:

.) Drinking 12/18 miller lites. I don't like miller lite that much, but as far as domestic cheap stuff goes, it's palatable. I bought the miller lites when I was at a gas station and found that 18 miller lites (I guess it would be Millers Lite) were only 8.99, which worked out to less than 50 cents a can. I put the pack of St. Pauli Girl back (St. Pauli Girl is a favorite of mine), and spent another 2 bucks to triple my beer intake. I did this in one sitting.

.) Redid the bathroom floor with the help of my dad.

.) Negotiated the purchase of a mortgage company. This means that I'd have gone from RE/MAX to Platinum to First Ohio to XXX XXX XXX in the space of less than a year.

.) Settled my debt with the IRS. This was only to make payment arrangements, but it does take a load off. I have to hire someone to refile and amend my returns.

.) Ate an entire big milk carton sized package of milk duds. My dental work will kill me soon.

.) Got the cliched game "Dungeon Siege 2." It's lucky for me that the characters I encountered are apparently unable to level as fast as I was--this allowed me to fetch things from basements, wine cellars, and an ingenious arena underground that nobody seemed to watch, and allowed me to kill progressively tougher monsters for $1500 per crack.

.) Saw the worst credit of my mortgage life. Wow.

.) Got an application from a former baseball player. No teams, or other stuff will be given.

.) Tried to work a full schedule without submitting any loans uner the current company, while still moving them along, and making them work. Oh, I get paid on Tuesday.

.) Interviewed--if you can call it that--a promising candidate for the new company, still without leaving the old one.

.) Watched my beloved Acura RL die.

.) Got suspended from LJ and bickered with LJ abuse.

.) Talked to theferrett about a project that I have in the works. He seems to be an agreeable guy, and was most relieved that I didn't hold him to the idea of driving all over creation.

.) Moved my desktop from work to home. Then moved it from home to work, realized that I ought to buy areawoman a new 'puter or consider upgrading the memory for her. 512 should be enough, but it's running...so...slowly.

.) Shocked the postal worker when I didn't want to sign for some certified mail. I have no idea who's sending me something, but I just wasn't in the mood. "Well catch up on monday."

.) Apparently made up with ambitious_1. She and I went through an LJ trim recently.

.) Realized that my personal liquidity has too much impact on my moods.

.) Gained weight. I'm back to start, after being down 14 pounds at one point. It's pathological. I think that with the move to the new company, all of my excuses are now gone. I can fix it.

.) Came to some peace about Jesus Christ, who's life I'm increasingly impressed with.

.) Played lots of chess.

What I need to do--for my own benefit--is get on a schedule.
