A deal's a deal, Commander Armstrong.

The bombs are in two two tamers known as "Mega Man" and "Crash Man."

Now, don't come after me, or maybe more will end up like dear Metal Man.

Sacrifices must be made, you know.

breakout, log post, metal man

Y...you MONSTER!

HOW COULD YOU PUT SUCH A SOPHISTICATED PIECE OF TECHNOLOGICAL GENIUS IN THAT SORT OF POSITION? These machines are truely art and you would...you could...YOU DARE HAVE THE AUDACITY TO PLANT A CRUDE INCENDIARY WEAPON INSIDE THEM?

Why not?

They are my robots.

... Another version of myself, of course.

It was better for them in the long run, I assure you.

Pardon my previous outburst doctor...I am still off center since my arrival here.

These machines truly are fantastic work and I have to say I greatly respect your skill.

Don't try kissing up to me, son. I don't care for it.

Kissing up would be telling you what I think was the right thing to do.

I cannot do that.

I can respect your work Doctor but I do wish you'd have shown more respect for the art of Robotics.

Machines, and people, are meant to be used for the greater good.

Even with regrettable losses.

And what is this greater good doctor? Greater for you or for the world?

For the world, of course.

The goal of all real men of science.

I'm afraid it's a weakness of mine to grow so attached to creations of sophistication, I suppose I'm just greedy.

That's the failing of mortal men, son.

You claim to be otherwise sir?

Don't put words in my mouth.

It's impolite.

I seek to understand not to imply sir.

I've spent most of my last year abandoning my way of life and bending my morality and scruples over my own knee in an effort to stay alive one more day and protect those I care about. You'll understand if my views of the world do not match with how this one operates.

I quest for knowledge and who better to learn from then those who's skill fascinates me through his work.

...

I am a man of vision. I know the world is corrupt. I seek to change it.

Of course, I, as its future leader, must sacrifice certain moral obligations to do what I must.

That is why I forgo such outdated ideas as punishment for my actions.
