So I've been watching BBC's new series, Merlin, with much reluctance. I was all gung-ho for it when I first heard about it but then I watched the first two episodes, realized exactly how badly they'd rewritten every single role purely for the purpose of dramatic effect, and left it.
Aaaand... then James suggested I watch it. I said I already had but, nonetheless, I decided to give it another chance. I've been watching it for the past three hours on BBC iPlayer and I've officially fallen for it. Hard. So now, to the point of this whole post:
Oh, Merlin, could you possibly be any more homoerotic if you tried?
I'm pretty much convinced that Merlin and Arthur are secretly gay lovers (thus their inability to face the prospect of ever losing the other and, equally, their seeming inability to notice that two beautiful women are head-over-heels in love with them) but then one throws Lancelot into the mix and OMG, I've found my first slash fandom!
C'mon, F-list, congratulate me! XD
