Er, obvious much?

So I'm researching cocaine withdrawal for Arata's rehab peice over at syntheticduel (slacking off on school again) and I find a prettty useful page (one of many) where they give you all the symptoms and so on and it's all laid out real nifty and easy to understand. They treat Cocaine Withdrawal as though it's its own medical condition (which it is for some people). They don't tack it on under "addiction". And none of this really matters to me because I could care less. Just tell me how it works.

They do, nice people that they are, and I'm liking the page until I find this section:

Prevention:
Avoid cocaine use. If you have previously used cocaine and wish to stop, try to avoid people, places, and things you associate with the drug. If you find yourself considering the extreme joy produced by cocaine, force yourself to think of the negative consequences that follow use. Seek support if you find it helpful.

And that hit an 11.5 on the 10-point NSS (read: No Shit Sherlock) scale. I mean, it's good advice but does one have to state the obvious like that? It's almost insulting.

crack, web junk, fanfiction, research, wtf?
