Anime-based Azureshipping (shaken, not stirred)

Written in aid of the FST of Doom (no, not the YGO arc -- that's DOMA anyway). Started out as a Seto/Anzu scene list of the Cliff’s Notes-type but since it’s really missing the “notes” it’s more like just Cliffs (you’ll see what I mean). The first few arcs: Duellist Kingdom, Dungeon Dice Monsters, The RPG and Battle City. This section stops just ( Read more... )

Took me long enough to get around to it but I fixed the Ishizu/Isis thing. It always confused because sometimes, I could swear they called her Isis in the dub and then the next day, I'd swear it was the other way around. But thanks for pointing it out and clearing it up in one fell swoop! *cheers* However, I've left "Marik" because it's my one little indiscretion in terms of dub/sub. I like the way "Marik" sounds rather than "Malik" -- what can I say? I'm into sharper sounds -- so... let's just pretend it isn't there, ok? :)

I'm sure you've read praiseofshadows's Star-chip scene transcription. If I remember the comments correctly, she friended you so that you could see them since it was a Friends Only entry. Those were the ones I was refering to. They came with ridiculously witty asides *grin*

And finally, about that Battle Tower scene; Do you remember if, when Seto and Yugi saw that vision, Anzu was over in the blimp/hospital place? Because I distinctly remember seeing her looking at that purple cloud through a window. But then again, she might have been at the duel too, simply by virtue of the fact that I don't have those episodes on DVD -_-;;

When Kaiba saw his vision of him holding the rod, then seeing the BEWD and holding a girl before a tablet, that was during his duel with Isis on the Duel Ship. Malik thought Isis' attempt at trying to "save" him was amusing, but he had no desire to stay and watch the results of the duel, so he started to leave-- but the Rod started acting on its own, and that's when Kaiba had the vision. Shortly after that, he stopped depending on Obelisk for his finisher, brought back the BEWD, and was able to defeat Isis, contrary to expectations.

I remember when Malik and Jounouchi were facing off in the final duels, I saw SHIZUKA looking out the window and seeing the black sky. At some point, Anzu might have been there with her, but I think she watched the duels with Honda. Isis also stayed behind, because I remember her watching over Rishid.

Funnily enough, I don't think we're talking about the same vision here XD. I'm done with the Isis duel for now but the issue of Kaiba's vision will be sure to come up later.

The one I was really referring to was the one he and Atem both had in the their last duel at Battle Tower (the one where Seto uses the Hologram of Excessive Applause to psych Yugi -- which doesn't work). It's the vision of the their past selves (or whatever; Atem's state of being is confusing my collective pronouns) having that shadow duel back in Egypt. Where was Anzu during that one? Mokuba was definitely there but I think by that time Anzu and Honda had gone back to the sick bay. Of course, I could be wrong...which woud be why I'm asking :)

Ah, now I remember what you mean! According to yu-jyo.net, once Jounouchi went comatose in his semi-final duel with Malik, everyone retreated to the Duel Ship infirmary (where Mai was as well, being watched over by Shizuka). Everyone encouraged Yugi to go and fight his hardest against Kaiba, else they couldn't save Jounouchi (because apparently it was obvious that the only way to wake him up was to beat Malik?). So Yugi went off on his own to the Duel Tower, but everyone else stayed behind.

I didn't say thank you for this before, did I? I'm really sorry! Thank you so much. I'll definitely be using this as reference. *bows*
