Strawberry!
You know one of the funny things about moving from the US to the UK? You can get a lot of the same things but they're not called the same things.
For example:
1. In the US I have a Mastercard. In the UK, I have a Maestro card. It's just European, right?
2. In America (*chuckle* YGO Abridged) I buy Dannon Activia yogurt. In England, I buy Danone Activia yogurt. Strange, isn't it? My question is: Why haven't they fucked with Oreo yet? >.>
I have nothing against it and it's all very easy to adjust to (you don't have to be able to read to figure out the packaging is exactly the same) I just found it funny. Unfortunately, the one thing I have been unable to find anywhere over here and it's killing me (because, damn it, they make this shit in France!) is Frutopia. Not the Frutopia you get in MacDonalds - that ain't right. I'm talking about the real stuff in the pretty tins. Can't find it anywhere. So sad *sob*
I have no idea why I wrote the above, it was just on my mind. And the subject being "Strawberry!" stems from the fact that:
[a] I just had strawberry yogurt (it's got to be my favourite flavour for yogurt. Chocolate ice cream rules)
[b] I seem to be running into strawberries everywhere! Admittedly, they're popular in the fruit section of the supermarket but then, I also bought strawberry jam and, for some inane reason, the majority of manga I've been reading/heard about lately have the word "strawberry" in the title. If not, it's "ichigo" (yeah, like that's any better).
Has anyone else out there read Nagatachou Strawberry? It's cute and shojo and fun. And I think the plot may actually work out to be worth something in the future but I can only find 4 chapters so far (it's 5 volumes in total...I think). I'm going to have to request the rest from free_manga. Ah well.
To the essay, once more!

Oh, before I forget. I bought COFFEE! So happy. Tea is ♥ but I've missed coffee. *bliss*
