So it's been forever
To anyone who still remembers my existence here on LiveJournal: I apologize for my absence. But hey, I'm back now!
So what's new? I'm almost done my last Spring term of university! I graduate this December... scary thought. There's lots to keep me busy though. First, my entire May will be dedicated to writing domolovesyou a 5,000 word fic, since she donated five dollars to me. You want a fic from me too? Check out this post :)
I'm also attending my boyfriend's prom. It feels really strange. I don't know. When I was in high school, I would never have imagined me being in a relationship, let alone going to prom with someone. I suck at being a guy, because I have no balls to ask anyone to such dances - but hey, perks of having a boyfriend? (in my defense, I totes asked Gabe to be my boyfriend, so I do have some balls!)
I may be doing a research experience for undergraduates (REU) over the summer, assuming I get accepted a position. I'd be flying across the country to Boise, Idaho. Anyone know anyone over there? Thought so, me neither. Definitely puts several thousand miles to my distance with Gabe, but it should really amp up my grad school applications, and I'm rather excited to leave Florida.
So after thesis is over (two weeks!), I'll have a writing muse again. Hopefully. Then there's grad school applications to think about, then tests and fall semester, and then I'm done with education!
....for a semester. Then pursuing a Ph.D. in the fall of 2012, yay. The things I do for a career, meh.
