What a great week...
Oh man, where to begin?
Well, first things first, I quit drinking, indefinitely. If you think you know why, you're right, and if you're clueless, don't ask, because I'm kinda embarassed of my actions. But, not drinking is good so far, and I feel like I'll dry out for a good long while.
Then, today, I went to Boston to check out the Napoleon exhibit at the MFA (awesome and well worth your damn money), ate vegan Chinese and hung out with Mike and Meryl, the latter whom I haven't seen in about a year.
At work, I found out I didn't get the Concord job, which is okay because Concord is supposed to be a boring town, but I did find out that I impressed the owners and that they want to keep me around for bigger, better things. We also had the Christmas party this week at the swank restaurant in Strawberry Banke, which was delicious and classy and all that good stuff.
As for little stuff, I've got a stack of comics a month deep to catch up on, the Penguins are on a fucking tear (and with UNH's own Ty Conklin in net, no less), I discovered the amazingness that is Stratego, and continued to stay commited to my beta carotene experiment (averaging 2 1/2 carrots per day, or equivalent).
But the big one, which would probably make it a great week anyway even without all that other stuff, is that I met a girl. She's cute, funny, shares my tastes, and is pretty keen on me. She likes beards. We make out.
