Highlights of senior year so far:
+ Fun classes (minus speech)
+ Having Anderson for English
+ Overcoming severe writer's block
+ Eating ice cream twelve days a week
+ Physics parties every month
+ Rocking to "Golddigger" every Wednesday night when it plays exactly at the time I'm going home
+ Big binders = more chances to organize
+ Making fun of Adam Alonso
+ Adventures with Bekee
+ Bekee trying out for and making the musical; it's so weird because she's always heard about theatre but never been in it. Now people tell me, "She's so good!" and I smile and go, "I know, thanks," like I had anything to do with it at all.
+ Not holding back on my opinions quite so much anymore
+ Making friends in speech class because these underclassmen love that I speak my mind
+ Being friends with an honest-to-life gangsta
+ West Wing on Sundays
+ Statistics class and kooky Mrs. Ferrell, with her getting mad at Navin but not me or Piero for sleeping
+ Learning to say "no"
+ Distancing myself from people I don't want to hang out with
+ Goldfish everyday (seriously addicting)
+ Appreciating school holidays and sleep like never before (I look forward to Christmas break not for the 24th, but for the sheer amount of sleep I intend to get)
+ Chuck-e-cheese breadsticks
+ Getting to know people better and understanding that people do change, sometimes for the better, and changing my opinion of them (although when they act like assholes, it's hard not to revert to old mentality)
+ "There's sudden heat permeating from my left side."
+ Safwan. I really don't think Safwan thinks we're friends, but I think he's hilarious, not only because of the baby costume comment.
+ Going crazy because I'm so not organized
+ Fun roll call categories
+ All Choked Up... I could watch that song and dance forever.
+ Godiva cheesecake
+ Rediscovering my old pop song love
+ Reading
+ Having pleasant conversations and even some fun times with some members of the opposite gender. (And then... not so much).
+ Awful pickup lines. "I wanna be your derivative so I can be tangent to your curves." Honestly... if someone used that on me, I'd go out with them.
+ Embracing my inner geekiness
+ Taco Bell
+ Rediscovering The Producers (movie soon! AH!) and the Boy From Oz
