Everyone I've spoken to has agreed that the Conditional part probably just means I need to graduate. I am ecstatic.
The hilarious thing is that David Hill, the guy who runs Cultural Inquiry right now, has been responding really helpfully to my questions-- finally I got out of him that he "hasn't heard from my referees (recommendations)." The BHam site says both my recommendations are in, meaning that since Critical Discourse has accepted me, they probably took both recs.
That's right.
My second choice program ninjed my recs.
He'll get back to me soon enough to let me know. But I figured all you kids out in LJ land should hear the good news.
