Wow.

I'm sorry, I really have no intelligent thoughts to add. Harry was well written - I was worried this would be too depressing, but it really wasn't.

In short... very good.

Thank you! I'm glad you didn't find it too depressing, since that was definitely not my intention. After all, death is a major theme of the series.

I enjoyed that. It really puts the numerous deaths into perspective to list them like that. :( Poor Harry! I like his thoughts about Riddle especially (and that he calls him Riddle, not Voldemort). I also like the image of the dead marching behind him. :)

Thanks! This came about as a means to organize my own thoughts on character death, so I'm glad it helps put things in perspective. And I took the name cue from their final duel, where I thought Harry calling him Riddle was a very nice touch.

This is utterly brilliant.

but he does sometimes think about his life as though it were written in the pages of someone else’s novel, where every death is wrought with significance.

Love that.

And Harry's thoughts on all the deaths are just spot-on!
