Whining about CS hacking (zt)
Hacking is becoming more and more of a problem in CS; it has even started to turn people against skilled players. The newest cheats can get past VAC and CSGuard; they’re always one step ahead. It seems like the number of cheaters has been rising since PunkBuster died, but there is a solution: The Top Ten Ways to tell if someone is Hacking.
#10 - Head-Shots -If someone gets a head-shot on you - they’re cheating. We all know by now that it’s impossible to get a head-shot without a hack of some kind. If you see someone get a head-shot ask the admin of the server to report the player’s WON-ID to the proper WON official.
#9 - Shooting through things. -It isn’t widely known, but bullets can’t go through walls, doors, or even windows in CS - unless of course the player is using a ‘wall hack’. A wall hack allows players to see others through walls, and fire their weapons through said walls. If you see someone firing through anything, ask them about it. They’ll probably say something along the lines of “I saw him hide there,” or “His gun was poking out.” No matter what they say; they’re hacking.
#8 - Killing you -If someone kills you, and they’re not ‘AWP whoring’ or being a ‘Camping noob’, then they might be hacking. We all know that CS was made to train snipers and boy scouts - this isn’t quake 3, after all. If you’re unsure whether your enemy is hacking, watch him in first person; if he kills someone else on your team he’s definitely hacking. The specific term is ‘CPL’, if you hear players talking about the ‘CPL’, then they’re hacking - ask the admin to kick them.
#7 - Boots -If a player model is wearing boots, they might be using an ‘anti- boot hack’, this prevents them from being kicked from the server. If you join a game with players that wear boots, leave and find a better server.
#6 - DookSoul -If you come across a player under the cheater alias ‘DookSoul’ leave the server. Admins - watch this guy, he uses every hack in the book and has a cult-like following of cheaters tag. Saw my gun poking out from behind the box my ass…
#5 - Knife Kills -Getting a kill using the knife on someone who isn’t AFK is impossible without a ‘blade hack’. A blade hack allows players to move much faster than normal without making any noise, thus making knifing possible. Before this guide everyone who used blade hacks thought they were sharp and couldn’t get caught, we’ll show them.
#4 - Hostage Hacks -If you’re playing on a cs map (ex: cs_militia, or cs_assault; as opposed to a de or as map) as a terrorist and you cannot move the hostages, then they cannot be moved without using one of the freely available ‘hostage hacks’. Hostage hacks are very widespread, be on the lookout. Wily CTs often use them to win the round when they’re too afraid to fight the Ts.
#3 - Jump Hacks -Jump hacks are also very widespread; they allow players to get to places inaccessible to everyone else (if you see someone above a door, or a light, then they’re using some form of a jump hack). Jump hacks normally come bundled with other hacks; if you see someone in an unusual place make sure to get him banned, as he may be using more than one hack.
#2 - ‘Zero Ping’ -Very rare but very deadly, a hack known only as ‘Zero Ping’ gives players just that : a ping of zero. It’s so rare that there is rarely more than one person using it in any server at any one time. The zero ping allows for much faster reaction time, which in itself is a great advantage; if another hack is used in conjunction with ‘Zero Ping’, then the player becomes almost unstoppable. If you see anyone with a zero ping call for the admin to ban him; it’s always good to get creative and call the hacker a name or two.
