Jon Stewart!

We turned on a new episode of one of our favorite kids shows, Jack's Big Music Show, and were very surprised to see Jon Stewart! Yay! From tv guide:

Jon Stewart Celebrates Groundhog Day on Jack's
When was the last time you had a real reason to get excited about Groundhog Day? Middle school? Elementary school? I mean, it isn't like Puxatawney Phil's weather forecasting abilites are any more accurate than my local guy Mike Woods', but it is a cute tradition.

This year there is a real reason to celebrate, and not like those nutty people in Philadelphia who were up pre-dawn setting off fireworks and singing the YMCA (Yeah, that's what I saw while getting ready for work today), Jon Stewart is making a very special guest appearance on the Noggin series Jack's Big Music Show. I'm sure the gig earns him some serious street cred with his kid, but fans of Stewart will delight in seeing him as a reporter trying to coax a reluctant groundhog out of hiding. He's got a hat with earflaps. Seriously, this is not to be missed. So drag out your DVR, find Noggin on the dial and set it to record today at noon. Check your listings for reairings, because the excellent thing about kids programming is that they tend to repeat things over, and over.

If you aren't a Jon Stewart fan (and if you aren't, I want to know why) then you should still tune in to catch the awesome musical guest video. It is a rockin' duet by Steve Drozd from the Flaming Lips and former Blues Clues host Steve Burns. They perform "I Hog the Ground," an appropriate tribute to groundhogs.

Totally an episode worth watching... even if you don't have a preschooler at home.

You guys have got to watch this one!
