I just realized that when I was doing my 12 of 12 last August, we had just moved into this house. I remember it was a bunch of pictures of me moving stuff and setting things up. So we've lived here a year already. Crazy!
Anyway, on to the pictures. 12 of 12 was created by
Chad Darnell if you haven't figure that out yet.
(And for those coming from somewhere else, I'm also doing a picture a day project this year. One of today's photos will be added to
this collection. I've made it 224 days so far! Woot. )
12:30am - Middle of Nowhere - I started the day out in my car in the middle of the desert while trying to spot the Perseid Meteor Shower. Here's the moon.
1:01am - Middle of Nowhere - The sky, some trucks parked on the side of the road, and light streaks from cars on the freeway.
1:35am - Car - Heading home 'cause I was sleepy. I did get to see some cool meteors though.
10:35am - Bedroom - (Slightly out of focus) Bed Hair. Jeez, you can really see my grey hair. I'm not that old, but the grey runs in my family. It started showing up when I was 16.
11:48am - Bathroom - Hanging a new shower curtain after cleaning my bathroom.
1:15pm - Bedroom - Checking out what they're screening at the Paley Fall Preview Parties and oh look, there's a picture of me and my friends in the banner! Haha. I'm on the right, next to Bryan Fuller's back.
1:52pm - Car - Getting ready to head into the bank to cash some checks. Yay for money in my wallet.
4:39pm - Front Yard - My grandma is here! She drove down from Vegas today. Our cars are cousins. I drive a Matrix and she has a Vibe.
7:08pm - Bedroom - One of my grandma's friend got me keychains from South Africa! That's cool.
7:56pm - Front Yard - Back from a run to Fosters Freeze for some ice cream.
10:30pm - Back Yard - Ending the day the same way I started it, out looking at the stars. This is the view over our back wall.
10:54pm - Back Yard - Lying on the ground, staring up at the sky. I saw some incredible shooting stars, but wasn't able to catch any of them in photos. Oh well.
I came back in around 11:30, after I'd completely drained my camera battery. If only I could find my charger! I swear this is the second battery charger I've lost. Don't know why I can't hang on to that thing. I think my other battery still has some juice. It'll have to last me until I find or buy a charger.
