Just a few Bones thoughts. Mostly about someone who's missing this season.
Zaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!
I did not even realize how much I missed him until he was back tonight. It made me cry to see the squints running to hug him, and being so happy sitting at the diner. Brennan squeezing his arm so hard because she missed him. AND OMG HE DIDN'T KILL THE DUDE! Why didn't he tell us that before?! Poor sweet, crazy Zack. Now Sweets has to carry that secret. (BTW, was that totally Hart Hanson's way to appease some of the fan backlash? Make it so he didn't really kill anyone, just helped the bad guy do it?) And omg Zack broke out of the loony bin with Sweets' card and Sweets is all afraid to be left alone with him. That was hilarious. I love Sweets.
I want Zack back. He's just so... Zack. He was part of the family. But if we can't have Zack back I wish they would just pick one new grad student for the season. Or at least a few episodes. I want to start to like the new ones coming in, but it's pointless because I know they'll be gone by the next episode. Like tonight's guy, Wendell. I liked him! I totally would be fine with him being around again. But it's probably not gonna happen.
Hodgins still breaks my heart.
And finally, Brennan and Booth are too adorable for words. He reads every single word she writes and memorizes her reviews. How sweet is that? OMG and then her fixing his back! The look on his face when she went around behind him and put her arms around him was awesome. And then back to bickering, because that is them forever and ever. I LOVE THEM.
So this episode totally felt more in the groove for me. I am back to jumping up and down with fangirl excitement. And it coincides with the return of Zack. Coincidence? Hmm.
