Im in Berlin now.
I flew to Calgary on a plane full of screaming babies. It was only an hour long. I couldnt smoother them with my pillow due to budget cuts, we dont get pillows... or blankets... or respect... According the flight info at the Calgary airport, Frankfurt was the most exotic departure location. London came in second and Mazatlan third. This is the third time Ive been to Calgary in the past year and like the two times previous, I didnt leave the airport.
The Frankfurt flight was 9.5 hours long, but we arrive 30 minutes early, which resulted in us waiting on the ground for 30 minutes for our gate to be available. It was a smooth flight. I got to see Ireland from the plane. I slept about 2 hours, I only woke up because the crotchity old lady behind me hit me on the head. She did it again later by tossing her blanket over my seat.
Upon arriving in Frankfurt, I took a train to Berlin. I missed my connection and had to wait around the Hannover train station for an hour.
I got into Berlin, met up with Scott and found our seedy hotel on the wrong side of town. I need food now.
