When Mohinder had decided to agree to the idea to co-adopt Molly with Matt, he had not imagined a situation like this occurring. He would have expected Matt to be the one to find another woman, to be the one to deal with that conflict. Not himself.
But here he was. He had found what might just turn into love, and he needed to talk to both his roommate and his adopted daughter about the serious possibility that there could be someone else in his life. Of course, there was also the added complication that Rachel, somehow or other, knew Sylar... but he had to trust her that she was the one being conned, not him. And either way, Matt would be able to work it out, when she came to visit. If she came to visit. He had to get their permission first.
He made an effort to get home early that day, drained already from the phone conversation with Rachel, and not wanting to have to wait until much later to have this conversation.
