Lucas couldn't believe it. The first day in Genessia was easy enough to write off as a dream. Even the second day, he was able to convince himself that he would wake up back home.

But three days in a row?

It was definitely time for a nice jog in the park to clear his mind.

Six was still doing his practice forms but he saw the blond jogging along. He nodded to the young man, deciding not to interrupt the other's run.

He remembered seeing this kid's post on the network. A newcomer that others had swiftly taken care of, so he'd decided to hold back. He'd felt it best not to overwhelm him.

Lucas slowed his pace, taking note of the man in a suit. Wait, a man in a suit practicing with some crazy swords?

He decided that this guy wasn't one of the background folk, so Lucas came to a stop about twenty feet away. "Hey! Are you in the M.I.B. or something?"

Six paused in his practice, looking at the teen...no, this guy was older than that. Young twenties most likely. "I don't even know what the 'MIB' is."

Lucas sighs. "Guess they don't have 'em where you come from. Right?"

He taps his imaginary sunglasses. "Secret agent dudes. The suits with sunglasses. Except their suits are black. Oh, and they fight aliens."

"If there are aliens where I come from, they haven't shown themselves."

The aliens were probably avoiding his world given what they'd done to themselves.

"So, no."

Another sigh. "I don't have aliens either. Just, uh. Ghosts and stuff."

"So what are you doing?"

He raised an eyebrow at that. He was a bit of a skeptic but...well...they had to exist somewhere. Why else would there be a sub-city with paranormal activity if that wasn't the case?

"Training." He folded up his magna blades, allowing them to slip back into their places in his sleeves. "Thinking things over. You?"

As the blades retracted, Lucas raised his eyebrows. Woah, cool. Then he rubbed at the back of his neck.

"Thinking. Or trying not to, really." A shrug. "Whatcha training for?"

The eyebrow raised higher. "Finally sink in?" There was a hint of amusement in his tone.

Begrudgingly, Lucas mutters. "A little bit."

Then a bit louder. "F.B.I. or C.I.A.?"

"Neither. Providence." He gave a small smirk. "As for why I'm training, it's for my new job. I'm rather fond of keeping a roof over my head."

"Oh yeah, what job is that? My little stack of welcome cash is almost gone."

He scuffed the ground with the toe of his shoe. "And staring at the wall in my apartment is getting really dull."

"Bounty hunting. However, there is a job center if you want to take at what's available. Gives you something to do at the very least."

Also would keep the guy fed. Six knew how important that was.

"Pffft, bounty hunting? It can't be that hard. I've tracked down vampires and werewolves...I mean. Yeah!" Lucas gets sidetracked giving himself a mini pep-talk. He puffs up a little by the end.

"You'd probably have better luck than I have with the jobs in Everglade then. Nova City though has a nasty problem with a rogue robot."

He started to walk in the direction of the jobs center, knowing that Lucas would probably follow.
