The Receiving End of Sirens - Between the Heart and the Synapse

....One sign of a truly well crafted album is when songs meld into one another seamlessly. That’s the case early on Between, as “Planning” leads right into “The Rival Cycle,” seemingly a track that follows the story of “Planning.” From there, “The Evidence” and “The War of All Against All” keep the rocking feel going, until a slow, hypnotic interlude interrupts for the last two minutes of “The War.”...

....The Receiving End of Sirens is simply a really good band, and Between the Heart and Synapse is one of the best-produced albums to come out on a label the size of Triple Crown in a long time. Be sure to catch TREOS on their never-ending tour, and support them by picking up this magnificent debut album....
