Mae - Everglow
Look up "Mae Everglow" on Google (without the quotes) and, if you're like me, prepare to be slightly afraid. Apparently these guys are serious Christians, and serious Christians tend to scare me even more than do serious Star Wars fans or whatever, if only because they're somewhat more likely to get into politics.
And yet, as finely honed and touchy as my personal Christian detector may have become, it didn't even beep when exposed to _The Everglow_. All it heard was the passion and the wonderful guitars and the fun with time signatures and the solid melodies and lyrics that crossed over occasionally into cheesiness but never into evangelism. (All of which may, in the end, be the best form of evangelism of all.)
It's clear in retrospect that these guys' faith has informed their music, but unlike Live and Creed and bands that are even worse -- okay, I kid, there's actually no band worse than Creed -- they're not here to bash us over the heads with it. They're simply here to love what they do and hope that we'll join them. Amen to that.

I know they're serious about their faith, which I'm not. But I've been hooked on their warm pretty songs =).
