So I haven't written for awhile....
I've been disappearing from LJ for awhile now...due to a few reasons.
1). Work
2). School
3). Traveling
4). Video game release season
5). Fandoms...
Well, there's also the fact that I don't really talk all that much, and IM is so much more direct. But anyways, I thought I should post a bit. =3
So kamuishirou1999 and I are planning out our wedding for next year right now. =3 So far I've gotten the event venue and dinner venues settled, designed our invitations, and put together our wedding registry. He'll have photographers ready for us....and possibly live musicians, though I could technically go to a few others for live musicians. What I'm REALLY excited about is the fact that almost ALL of my international friends said they may be able to come for the wedding! I haven't seen one of them since high school 3rd year...I really really really miss her <3. It's interesting....thinking about the guest list from my side. It's very apparent how I make friends from my own guest list....there are VERY FEW local friends who are joining but a TON of international/long distance friends coming in. All my friends are all over the place....I suppose that's a good thing and a bad thing...I don't get to see them often, but knowing you have friends all over the place is kind of nice. And that makes it more special when I DO get to see them....mm.
So 2 weekends ago! I went to NYC to see aaau. That was a REALLY fun trip. I managed to finish hw and hang out with her at the same time =D. It was more or less of a "well if there's cheap tickets I'll go..." kind of decision, and luckily, air tickets WERE cheap when I looked =D. I haven't really visited her properly for almost 2 years...mainly because now I go to kamuishirou1999's place for Thanksgiving instead of hers...
but yeah I brought her some omiyage that her family really liked them =D yokatta~! Also, went to the SOHO Uniqlo...except....they were selling MAINLY winter clothes (well makes sense...) and most of them would be too hot for me to wear V_V; ALSO! My French skills came into use while I was there! So this French tourist couple was looking for certain kinds of Chinese tea, so they stopped me on the street to ask. (I was near China town area of Manhattan..) and surprisingly to them probably I was able to understand and speak French and guided them around to people who can help them find the tea! That was interesting =D I never thought I would be able to use French here for anything XD
But anyways, in a few weeks, I'll be going to kamuishirou1999's place for Thanksgiving! After that, Texas for X'mas! Yeah I'm traveling a lot....but luckily, I'm saving up an extra week of vacation hours for next yaar at work and also I get an extra week from work anyways on top of that since it'll be the 5th year I've been with the company next year! (so fast...) and so I get a total of 5 weeks of vacation next year, which will be useful since I need to fly out for my wedding next year. =3
Life aside, now fandom! XD I've been...very muchly enjoying my fandom ride with the Golden Bomber fandom. They're truly geniuses at entertainment XD I've spent over $1000 on their goods (mainly on DVDs ... but I bought their more recent CDs too). All that money is VERY worth it for the amount of amusement you get. Anyways, so they had this fanclub only tour and are only selling the tour DVD to their fanclub members. D: I really wanted to try to join Club Euclid for this, except I found out that Club Euclid has this ultra silly membership policy. So apparently once you join Club Euclid, you cannot cancel your membership??? They're also a fanclub for all Euclid Agency artists, so it's not exclusively GB. =\ That kind of stopped me from joining JUST because I wanted ONE DVD. V_V; though I'm sure that DVD is full of win..... but yeah, eternal membership (with annual fees of course) and not always for the band I want to be there for V_V; But anyways, there will be plenty of non-fanclub only items for me to enjoy, so I'm not really sad. Yeah sometimes...stupid policies can really make a place lose customers....I'm one of those who actually thinks about what I'm doing before I do it XD. Speaking of GB, their monthly broadcast was today...XD THAT WAS ULTRA AMUSING....ok so tonight I have an exam, I think they pushed my genki energy up by 3000%. Arigatou~ Konya wa ganbarimasu~!
Ah also! Nihon Falcom released 2 game titles in the past 3 months that I've been playing. Nayuta no Kiseki on the PSP and Ys Celceta on the PS Vita. I've played through both already once....except I'm doing the second round playthrough right now. I've kind of stopped playing Nayuta after Ys came in....BUT =D Zero no Kiseki Evolution for the PS Vita is coming in .... in about a few weeks! I've played the original, but the Evolution copy has a lot more game content and all character voicing! Kakihara Tetsuya being the main character's seiyuu makes it better~ Speaking OF Kakihara-san....I was able to meet him in person and had staff dinner with him at Otakon this year~ =D Thank you kamuishirou1999 for taking me around staff events <3 Omoshiroi...kata deshita ne....he's not actually THAT talkative (I guess it depends on who you compare it to...), BUT I helped out (a little bit) for all his Otakon event appearances! =3 Tanoshikatta~!
Anyways, this was long...but then again I haven't updated in forever lol. I should be studying a little more for my midterms right now XD Ganbarimasu!
I'll leave this with Kirishou (GB's vocalist)'s ANN promotion/showing event for Paranormal Activity 4 movie XD where he was scared multiple times by movie, surprise guest, and staff. His reactions are golden XD <3 kawaii deshita yo~
