It was not a particularly important question Yeul had for Evan, but...

"Hello Evan," she said, "it's Yeul. I am sorry to bother you but I was wondering if you knew what Sholeh liked to drink from the Perk?" She considered that for a moment. "And, perhaps, what she likes to eat?"

Oh! Hey! Evan had an answer for this one! He was smiling as he called Yeul back to leave a reply on her voicemail.

"Hi, Yeul! So, you asked what kind of drinks and food Sholeh likes? I know her drink of choice at the Perk is usually a hot chocolate with cinnamon in it. And for food... maybe something small that she can carry around with her and nibble on through the day. Something like cookies or granola bars? I don't know if it's her favorite or anything, but they'd be useful for her to have on hand, trust me."

Oh goodness. If Sholeh had difficulties with her phone, texts were even more confusing. So she was going to try to call the girl back to explain.

"I don't think you wanted to talk to me," she said, because she was not Peter, "but I hope I'm not your least favorite, either."

The bit about the phones? Well, she didn't know enough about them to know when they were working properly.
