I never thought I'd be involved in another battle, this soon. The size didn't bother me until we got here. This is big. More importantly, it's serious. Angel got himself into this mess and I'm here to help him out of it. I pretty much dragged everyone here for the fight. The only person here by her will is Faith

I glared at Wood, for the...I don't even know how many times, now. He wanted to fight. Fine. I would let him fight his own battle. But, he wanted me to watch his ass, at the same time? He was asking for a lot. "I don't know, Wood. I'll see what I can do." I looked over my shoulder at him and smirked.
I turned and looked straight ahead. My heart almost dropped. "Spike?" I whispered his name under my breath. It can't be. Spike's dead. Wood ran over to me. "I think I'm seeing things." I shook myself out of the daze. "It's nothing, really. I thought I saw Spike." Wood stared straight ahead. I went to look, but we were attacked by demons.
My punches flew at demon faces and my legs kicked. Part of me wished Cordelia would glow, again. They seemed to be getting their strength back. We moved forward, closer to Angel. They kept coming out and attacking us. Two hummers were driving over demons ahead of us. I sighed. "Why didn't we think of that?" Then, I punched a demon to the ground and chopped his head off.
I turned to see Wood fighting another demon. He looked at me. I kept looking at him. It took him a few rounds before he killed the demon. "I was watching your ass, but I did let you kill what you could. I figured you could handle yourself." Wood would definitely get me back for that. "Come on, we have to move in closer." All thoughts of me thinking I saw Spike were out of my head. There was no way Spike would be here.

Buffy's smirk let me know that she had my back, and I had hers.
Things weren't going to be easy...or would they?
We pushed forward, though behind us, demons were being run over by SUV's which was a brilliant strategy, from whoever was driving them. If we had all done this, then no slayers would be dead and littering the ground along with copuntless demons everywhere.
I looked back forward, to see that Buffy was captivated by something that chilled my blood.
"Spike?"
He should have stayed dead saving the world, which was a bit of atonement for killing my Mother. I had been comfortable with him being dead, and lost the hatred for him, because he had saved the world. Now, he was back.
I was almost struck by a demon when a shot whistled just past my head and hit a demon to my right, in the face. I looked up to see a man and a woman firing from the rooftops. I was disoriented by Spike's return, but I still managed to wave and smile for them on the rooftop.
Buffy saw it too and looked up as if she knew who was on the rooftop.
"I think I'm seeing things."
I didn't see Spike when she thought she had first saw him, and was glad that she thought, now, that she was seeing things.
A couple of stray demons in the lessening crowd, came at us, and we had to engage them.
Buffy killed a demon, as I knocked one away with my sword, and the guy on the rooftop took him out with his firearms for me, again, coming close to hitting me.
Then, Buffy saw the SUV's that I had just witnessed.
"Why didn't we think of that?"
"I was just thinking the same thing myself."
A demon attacked me, and worried about shots getting near my head, I had to let our friends on the rooftop know that I could engage this one. I got in its face and fought with gusto, energized. Thirty seconds later, his head was off.
"I was watching your ass, but I did let you kill what you could. I figured you could handle yourself."
I smiled, ready for anything.
"Come on, we have to move in closer."
"Okay, we move towards the glow, where there still seem to be demons and while we're at it, we try to avoid the gunfire from the two on the roof that you obviously know. What's their story?"
