Kicking some fucking ass.

Rory and I were now immersed in the battle. We had come here, and had been ensouled in the strangest of ways, but the how and why's about us being here could be discussed at length when we had the time, because right now, gorgeous brunettes that both of us were envisioning were most likely in this battle, and they needed our help, as did all of the ( Read more... )

I appreciated Justin's work in getting me a sword. I felt a lot better about having it then the saw.

I tossed the saw as far as I could throw it, not wanting some demon to get his hands on it and come back to use it against me later down the road.

We were at the back of the pack and most of the demons that were ahead of us were going the other way towards something.

It bothered me. I wanted to know where those brunettes were that we were both seeing and I wanted to know who all of these demons were chasing.

"Do you think if we ask these dickheads who they are after before we kill them, Justin, that they'll tell us?"

"Do you think if we ask these dickheads who they are after before we kill them, Justin, that they'll tell us?"There was a pause in the action, almost as if the demons didn't really want to fight us, and I had the idea to back away and get Rory to retreat with me, just to see what would happen ( ... )

The demons weren't attacking us, which I found odd since we had killed so many, which only bloody furthered my resolve to find out who it was that they were after.

Justin seemed to have the idea of backing away from them to see what they would do.

I wanted to fight. There were so many of them and brunettes and other good folks who could be in trouble, but it was obvious that if we left here, that they weren't going to attack us, almost as if they were being puppeted by some master.

"Rory, I have no idea if they would tell us anything, or if they can, but I now know for sure that they have no interest in killing us and we can go get something a little more effective at killing a thousand demons. I think that I saw a Hummer dealership down the road. We can run the demons over. and believe me, Hummers will run over anything, especially if we grab the full sized models."I turned and ran and he ran side by side, as both of us cradled our swords. I had no intention of giving it up, even if we got the vehicles that eh was talking about. ( ... )

This was what I was talking about. There were all sorts of car dealerships here and all sorts of choices.

Rory seemed to be intent upon picking a Ferrari out of the herd, but I pulled him along.

There were Chevy's Fors, Cadillac's, and then there were the foreign cars, but I stopped at the Chevy dealership, because that's where the trucks were.

I then moved to the back of the Chevy dealership and found the Hummers sitting there.

Yeah, there was no way that we were using anything but the Hummers. No, the problem became getting our collective hands on the keys. Fortunately, there was nobody here. It was far past closing hours, and besides, there was nobody on the streets, not if they wanted to live.

I looked at him as I approached the glass. "I'm willing to bet that there are keys on the floor models and I have my eye on the black one."

I raised my elbow and looked at him. "I know that we're good now, but we're still demons. Besides, this is for the safety of the world."

I smashed the glass.
