[[Aaron, for all his awkward moments, is used to random accidents.

Feel free to crash into him. As you both hit the ground he at least manages to keep your groceries from spilling everywhere. Kind of propping them up above himself and laying there groaning.]]

thankfully in her fall to the cold, wet ground she only manages to lose a flower or two. a small price to pay, but more importantly: )

O-oh jeez, I'm really sorry!

[[Groan. The ground was cold, but this has been happening a lot this past week or two.]]

"It's okay. I should have been paying attention instead of staring at the sky...

... Did I manage to grab everything?"

Same here, I was to busy watching my feet and trying not to slip. Seems I was my own undoing.

( a sigh, but she checks the bags before nodding and smiling. ) Everything here and intact. Thanks, by the way.

"No problem. Want help carrying these home then? I'm used to a little snow and ice."

[[Slowly sits up to keep from spilling the bags. Moving to stand next. His back was soaked but he'd live.]]

That would be great! ( she gets up herself, dusting her coat down and ignoring the wet patches. ) I don't live to far from here.

Oh! I'm Elizabeth, by the way. Elizabeth Tudor, it's nice to meet you.

[[Derp, derp, Aaron won't recognize the name.]]

"Nice to meet you Elizabeth, I'm Aaron Taylor."

[[Getting the bags settled he lets her take the lead.]]

"Nice to meet you too, even if it is like this."

( most excellent! one less person to explain the clone thing too. but she'll smile again, turning and leading the way after making sure everything was situated and in place in her bags. )

Well, in a place like this. . . ? This is probably one of the better ways of meeting someone.

"Yeah, I think other than one time though everyone I've met has been pretty cool.

No, make that two, that scary blonde guy was confusing."

Yeah, the people are not to bad. ( pause. ) But with all the bad things that happen here, we certainly meet and bond during some dark times.

"I hear about bad things but so far it's only been due to other people.

Though what happened to Kay sounds terrible.

You've been here long?"

( her face falls at the mention of kay, squeezing the flowers closer to her. )

Only four months, I came here right at the start of July. Not even two days later it changed to that strange Soviet version of Mayfield and well. . . it was pretty bad.

"Soviet Mayfield?

I'm sorry to hear. I guess I got lucky on that."

( she just smiles forced but faintly. )

It's okay! But enough about this depressing talk. Hehe, it never suited me much and especially not when I have something to be really happy about.

"Oh, something big happening?"

[[He was glad to get to happier topics. Poor Aaron was ill prepared for what was to come, until then he can be happy.]]

Two of my friends recently came back from home, they were droned for so long that I was starting to worry I'd never see them again.

. . . Though perhaps its bad of me to think it's a good thing they've returned to this place.
