Sadness
So the only friend I talk to with any regularity in Stockton is moving away to Fresno. She got a great job there, so I'm happy for her, I am just going to miss her a lot. True, we don't hang out in person so often, but still, Quelle Sad. Hopefully I will be able to see her before she leaves. Actually scratch that... I WILL see her before she leaves, dammit.
In Other News: about a week and a half ago I got epidural injections in my back to try to deal with the pain. So far.... they don't seem to be helping all that much. True, they changed the pain from constant to "come and go," but the swing seems to be more aimed at the 8-10 side of the pain scale, rather than the 1-3. (for those "not in the know" 1 is no pain; 10 is worst pain in your life.) Atleast the painkillers still work. A little more efficiently, too, so that's another plus. Eh, I still have the rest of the week before they wear off completely. Hopefully it's just a slow starter?
