1. Yes there has.
2. I know, that's why I made sure to point out that I was not claiming that, and neither was anything in that link.

Sure enough, at one point, the sheets stop moving. But during the analysis, they caught an inconsistency with the placement of the sheets, and at the same time there was a faint clicking sound, which they figured was the camera being re-started, making it clear that someone had come in, paused the camera, got into position, restarted it, and moved the sheets."
Yeah, that was the Manson Murder House episode, if I remember correctly. I never said that they don't debunk some tamperings. They do what gets ratings. But going back to the footage, I never said that footage was used in the reveal, or as evidence. But, it was never pointed to as tampering or doctored footage until and outside source pointed it out. So either TAPS did it, or the show's editors did it. If TAPS didn't do it, TAPS should've been able to find it before the episode went out and correct it. The fact that they didn't speaks to two things: they don't have enough control over their own show, and they don't have the AV expertise necessary to spot a fake.

No, a real paranormal investigation implies correct scientific method. I can walk into your living room, bust out an Ohmmeter, wave it in the air a little, and declare "nope, there ain't no spirits here", but that doesn't make it a real paranormal investigation. :P
