I can't write. I can't find the time, the privacy or the inclination. Don't expect anything to be written for a while. It isn't happening

First, let me say that I'm glad I finally thought to check here. I was getting worried about you -- you usually reply to my e-mails so quickly, and I haven't heard back from you yet. It's good to know your just busy and that nothing other than school happened to you. (Of course, I could have known this when you posted this, what, two, three weeks ago? But I'm lazy. XD)
That's definitely disappointing. I know how much you were looking forward to being amongst people with actual brains. Like Preq said, though, it's possible -- maybe even probable -- that after a while the people who are below you will either drop out or start taking lower level classes. Also, I don't know how university works in Canada, but here the first two years or so of college are just like high school accept that you're living away from home and the classes are huge. You have to get through all the requirements for graduation before you can focus on your major. (So, even though I plan on being a biology/zoology major, my first few years I'd still have to take a history class, etc.) If it's the same way where you are, perhaps when you get through all the drudge work, the people in your classes will have the same interests and be on the same level as you.
I hope things get better for you soon, mate, with both the workload and the people. *hug*
Mm. It's been difficult, and on top of that, I archived the email, thus removing it from my inbox and making me forget it. So sorry...
The course I'm in is strictly regimented. We don't get any electives in the first year, and maybe one in the second. They're all at the same level. I don't have a major persay because of the course I'm in. I just have the course.
Anyway, nice to hear from you again. *returns hug*

Are your classes going well, at least? Other than having a lot of work, I mean.
