patti was in town and the weekend was quite a blur... but here are the highlights
sept 2
the hurricane may have kept us indoors for most of the day but all it took was an overpriced movie ticket to see little miss sunshine. emma passing out midway through pretty in pink was funny and just hanging out with cile and patti was just icing on the cake. and i love how cile and i thought we were black at one point of the evening. beyonce's vma's performance sucked.

sunday was shake shack day thanks to the beautfiful day post hurricane. those burgers and shakes are crazy good. shopping was fun even if i bought nothing because i am poor now. then came the evening, and it really was the night of rejections from bars. it definitely brought some angst that i haven't seen in quite awhile. getting hit on by homeless people can be highly entertaining and scary at the same time.

back to coney island... finally got on the cyclone. unlike the last time, it was majorly packed. got on the wonderwheel too... and watched a freak show/ side show. and to top it off we ate in nathan's. love it.
