So I'm sitting here reading about super weapons currently in development for the united states military. They have created a robot that is autonomous and shoots 4000 thousand rounds a second. Oh and the bullets are all little grenades. They are doing field trials on a mounted laser that can destroy a tank in seconds, hit over one hundred targets in a single blast, is silent, invisible and will be shot from an aircraft that can be over 5 miles away. How about a satallite that basicly does precision drops from orbit. No explosions or anything but it will hit with the force of a nuclear bomb without any pesky political fallout to prevent us from using it.
This is all completely awesome and all but does it not feel a little like cheating to anyone else? In five years everyone else will still be fighting wars and we will just be pushing buttons. When one country no longer has anything to fear from overt military action what will stop it from using it? Isn't war suppose to be dangerous and scary so that we don't do it all the fucking time?
On another note headed down to red river gorge in a few days. If your not jealous then your stupid. Its going to be awesome.
The more I think about how I handled a certain situation the more convinced I become that I'm a fucking dumbass.
That is all.
