Gen Kill Rewatch round 3
Hey all,
So I think there's enough interest for a third round of the rewatch which brings me to my next matter on the list: timing.
The mods and I agree that this time around we should put more of an emphasis on setting a time for a more structured rewatch of the show with the commentary. This has been done previously before, but it was more of a laid back way of watching it.
So, with that in mind, and the knowledge that people in every time zone are going to be watching this, I wanted to ask everyone:
In the past, we've started the rewatch at 10:00 PM GMT/2200 GMT. Each episode is 70 minutes. So, with a twenty minute gap, I'm thinking the best way to start the rewatch with commentary would be at 11:30 PM GMT/2330 GMT. If you aren't sure of what the time would be in your area, check here.
With that said, I'm not sure if that's going to be putting some people in the position of having to decide between sleep and watching the commentary. Another option would be pushing the rewatch forward to 9:00 PM GMT/2100 GMT, with the commentary at 10:30 GMT. But then we're putting those in the New Zealand/Australian areas in a bit of a bind as well, as they're already getting up so early.
Also, keep in mind that there is always a second round of the rewatch, 8 hours after the first rewatch has been held. In the past, that was 06:00 AM GMT. If we hold it at the same time, the commentary rewatch second round would begin at 07:30 AM GMT.
