Greetings, and a couple of small changes
I just realised that I never actually said 'hi' to the comm as a whole since I took over modding with pjvilar. So, um, HI! I love Generation Kill, and this community, and I was thrilled lemniciate asked me to mod.
Anyway, just here to say that although it's pretty much business as usual (the community was running smoothly when we took over, so no point changing a good thing), we've made a couple of little changes to the guidelines on the profile page.
One - to limit the number of preview icons on a post (which everyone does anyway, which is great - thanks, artists).
Two - what to do if you're thinking of making a post here but aren't sure if it's suitable for the community. Rather than posting anyway, just ask us first. Either use our new community email, or email us individually. Please don't post and add a note asking the mods to delete it if it isn't suitable. pjvilar and I are around most of the time, and we promise we'll get back to you quickly.
I'd also like to thank our team of roundup posters: abrokencompass, justaotherwitch, kari_hermione, kindofdanceit, lemniciate, ourblood, ringhelediel, our pinch-hitter, shoshannagold, plus pjvilar and me.
And while I'm here, I've been trying to keep an eye out and ensure that new authors and artists get their own tag, but if I've missed you out, just leave a note in the comments here, and we'll get onto it.
