Just something interesting I picked up about Rudy Reyes from a local radio station:
Not long before he joined the Corps, Rudy was in a rock band with one of the station programmers at 98.9 The Rock, in Kansas City, MO. He was on for an interview not long ago and his friends all stated their surprise when he'd told them he was quitting to join the Marines. They couldn't imagine him doing anything that would put him into a position to harm another person.
I dunno how news-worthy this is, but I felt I should share. It's kinda surprising me how many of these guys are from the Metro area. First Josh Ray Person, now Rudy.
