We are trying to get on a plane some time today to see if we can make it to the states for Thanksgiving. Mobility is an issue, but Bill's hanging in there. The last several days have been difficult as we adjust to the inevitable changes. Bill says he is looking forward to real food. I am not, shall we say, an accomplished cook; he has not been able to cook for a while now though he is, I must say, a rather accomplished cook. Nicole is a fantastic cook in my experience, and I'll brave turkey for a full stomach.
This may be our last trip to Pennsylvania together, and that is not without its sorrow. I am thankful it is happening at all. As Bill says, "There were doubts."
