"This, would be an accessory shop in Midgar, and your friends are presumably where you left them."

The drained feeling that accompanies the overuse of magic -- no, the overuse of the knowledge of the Anicents; magic does not exist -- has faded slightly. A short while longer in my rested state will satisfactorily restore enough for a transportation; a little longer than that to be able to carry this one with me. I only hope that I will be given that time, else abducting him in the first place will prove fruitless.

"I know that you have darkness inside you; I can feel it." The boy tensed at the words. "I do not feel that it is prudent to attempt to maninpulate you by using...you may rest easy at least in that case. What fascinates me is your capacity to, like myself, use it to your advantage without it consuming you. I offer you this chance to accompany me, if only for a time. There is much you may learn."

It would be best, with such words, to remain still and make no threatening advances toward the subject being addressed. If I have learned one thing from leading skitish soldiers, it is that my aura is not that of a companion, but of an officer that demands obedience. No need to frighten the child as I have so many others his age.
