So I think we all know how exceptionally lame I am about updating LJ consistently. So I'll try to remedy that with an incredibly long rambling post about a variety of subjects

Yeah because I'm lazy I end up posting very long "month long" synopsis instead of daily or weekly updates :) I'll get back in the habit... I swear!
Lefsa is Norwegian potato flat bread... looks like a tortilia and is usually used as a dessert. You add some butter and brown sugar and its a tasty snack. Some folks put meat in it instead - like ham or whatever. You can buy it at Jungle Jim's I know, I haven't seen it many other places. In MN they have it at a lot of stores...cuz, well, we're all Norwegian desent. Here's the wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lefsa
I'm getting close to finishing Midnight in the Garden, it's getting very good now with the various trail parts and social reaction to it all. I like his narrative... just slow to start, it was like a lot of descriptions so I couldn't like latch onto it... nows its all coming together :)
Sorry darling, I figured you saw it or I would have pestured you about going. It was in the "Meet ups" board since it wasn't an "official" harry huddle. I'm missing out in Jan, I'll be out of town, but I will be hosting Feb, so that should be a shorter drive for all the Daytonnati types!
Lefsa looks different but good. Thanks for the link. Maybe on my next Jungle Jim's run, I'll pick some up.
Midnight was VERY slow at the beginning. I think that's what turned me off and why I put it away. I like faced paced books. Let me know when your finished if it's worth struggling through the beginning.
Ah...no problem. I should be more thorough in my exploration. Was the luncheon fun?
