THE SOLDIER PROTECT LEVEL: ■■■■□□□□□□ COMFORT LEVEL: ■■■□□□□□□□ ADMIRE_ LEVEL: □□□□□□□□□□ FEAR___ LEVEL: □□□□□□□□□□ HATE___ LEVEL: ■■□□□□□□□□ Included in his trio to be a buttmonkey and because he felt a little sorry for him, Masaomi's relationship with Shuri Oak is a very rocky thing and even now he couldn't completely articulate how he feels about the boy if he wasn't just permitted to pass it off as him being "senpai" or a friend. Because the fact is that his "friendship" with Shuri isn't terrible deep and has not always been very positive. Shuri's attitude is easy enough to rub off, but it is still grating. So is his bluster and ego.
Perhaps most damning though is the fact Shuri seems to continually be caught between him and Mikado. Masaomi is not always aware how, but even since Valentines he's been very wary of Shuri - sometimes going as far as threatening him about it - because of whatever "damage" he might do to his friend. It's an unfair accusation, Masaomi still know in his more lucid moments, but he's felt justified for all of his actions thus far.
Right now though... they're "friends." Masaomi's still working out how to handle that he thinks Shuri is gay (and not politically allowed to be) and their blotchy past, but he's not the worst person ever. code ♥ main post
